CLASS C RVS
The go-anywhere, bring-everything motorhome; where power meets versatility.
What is a Class C RV?
Whether you’re looking at a smaller motorhome or a haul-everything behemoth, Class Cs are known for their power, versatility and ease. Class C RVs are easily recognized by their semi-truck front, with distinctive cab-over design: the area above the driver’s seat, outfitted as either a sleeping area or housing for additional storage.
When compared to Class A RVs, Class C RVs offer enhanced drivability and maneuvering, greater safety, and more accessible service and repair. If comparing to Class B RVs, Class C RVs win out with more of everything: more power, more space, more conveniences and, with our Renegade motorhomes, more luxury and premium quality bumper to bumper.
The Cutaway Chassis
This is what makes a Class C a Class C. It’s also what makes driving a Class C so familiar and fun. The entire front end of the vehicle, engine, doors, dash and cockpit, is essentially that of a van or truck
The engine of a Class C is always in the front, making it easier to service than any Class A, in which techs can often only access the engine by going through your living area. All Renegade RV Class Cs have exceptionally easy-to-access diesel engines.
Types of Class C RVs
Standard Class C RVs
The classic Class C RV is built on a van or truck diesel chassis (like the Mercedes-Benz® Sprinter Cab, Ford® or Freightliner®), with the iconic over-cab bunk/storage. They’re spacious, easy to maneuver, and versatile, a favorite among families and road warriors alike.

What is a Class C Sprinter RV?
A Class C Sprinter RV is a motorhome that is built on the Mercedes-Benz® Sprinter Cab Chassis. Featuring a residential-style kitchen, one or two sleeping areas and a bathroom, our Vienna Class C Sprinters are more compact than our other Class C models. Renegade’s Class C Sprinters are known for their luxury, power and maneuverability.
What is a 4×4 in a Class C RV?
A 4×4 Class C RV is a motorhome equipped with four-wheel drive, meaning power is sent to all four wheels, not just the front or rear. Our Veracruz‘s added traction gives you better control and confidence when driving on snowy roads, muddy trails, gravel paths, or off-the-beaten-track terrain.
Renegade RV’s Lineup of Class C Motorhomes
From a smaller Class C (like the Renegade Vienna) to a larger Super C motorhome (like the Renegade Explorer or the Renegade Classic), Renegade’s Class C RVs are the perfect blend of comfort, convenience and luxury.

How is a Class C Motorhome Different than a Class A Motorhome?
While both Class A and Class C motorhomes offer comfort on the road, there are key differences, and at Renegade RV, we focus on the one that does it all: Class C.
Class C motorhomes are built on a heavy-duty truck or van chassis, which gives them a more familiar driving feel and easier maneuverability than the larger, bus-style Class A. You’ll recognize Class Cs by their signature cab-over design, often used for extra sleeping space or storage, which adds function without sacrificing drivability.
They’re typically shorter in length and lighter in weight, making them easier to handle on winding roads, in campgrounds, or when parking in tighter spots. But don’t let the size fool you, Renegade’s Super C models are built with the power, durability, and luxury you need for extended travel and serious adventure.
How is a Class C Motorhome Different than a Class B Motorhome?
While both Class B and Class C motorhomes are more compact than a Class A, they serve different needs, and at Renegade RV, we believe Class C hits the sweet spot between size, power, and comfort.
Class B motorhomes, often called camper vans, are built within the body of a standard van. They’re nimble, easy to park, and great for quick getaways or solo travel. But they can feel tight on space and often come with fewer amenities.
Class C motorhomes, on the other hand, are built on a larger truck or van chassis with a cutaway cab and a cab-over design for added space. This gives you significantly more room for sleeping, lounging, and storage, plus the ability to enjoy features like slide-outs, full kitchens, and larger bathrooms.
